This stretch of road to Gate City. Usually stops are of women traveling alone. I have been over this road many times but have never seen a man stopped.

A cop always sits on the opposite side of the road from the river in front of some houses on the side of the street. He looks like just a car visiting one of the houses until you get right up to him. Sometimes another one sits right as you turn to go across the RR tracks to go up on the upper road. This is usually around 9 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. If you are coming from town, you will see one speed limit sign that says 25MPH. If you are coming from the end where Robinette Steel is, you will not see a speed limit sign, but it is supposedely 25MPH, even though it previously had been 35MPH for many many years!
