Changed speedlimit signs on US 50 from Aldie to Upperville. Too much traffic on road so this area is fighting urban sprawl by setting up unrealistic speed for amount of traffic on road. Speed is 40 to 35 to 25 to 35 to 50 so on through Middleburg and Upperville then picks up again to 55. Be very careful and allow 20-30 minutes more on drive time. Loudin and Faquier counties need money.

Comment (1/2004): I concur! Cops sit in Upperville to cash in on the low speed limits there. Going from 55 to 30 is tricky. Watch yourself at off peak times.
