Heading into Ferrisburg, speeds drop from 50 to 40mph... The troopers predominantly sit at the tractor dealership on the east side of the highway. Since most everyone is doing over 40 when they come over the small rise, a trooper can write a goodly amount of tickets in an evening. Also, the troopers sit in the parking lot of the Little Otter General Store and a small restaurant across the street.
