The State Troopers will hide in the woods on the right han side of the road. Real dirty pool here. After you climb the hill out of Bradford heading towards Fairlee don't let the your speed get out of hand (this is a long downhill stretch).
Comment (2/2004): The State Troppers also sit at that rest area between 2 and 3 in the afternoon (at least during the week)

Officer's car sits on median at the base of a long, steep downgrade and is not visible until within a couple of 100 feet. If you pass a slow moving car approaching the top of the hill and start your downgrade after passing you are toast. I have been driving since 1957 and received my first ticket at this site.
