Caledonia County Sheriff & occasionally State Police strictly enforce 30 MPH limit through town, 25 MPH when school in session. Most locals slow right down, but be careful if you are by yourself! Sheriff also monitors traffic westbound through West Danville as vehicles enter the village. | |
Comment (10/2003): Date 9/27/2003Danville Vermont Rt. Leaving town time 1620 there is a hill like a roller coaster I was five car lengths behind a jeep no steep grad sign and the 50 pH sign was on the down grad I felt the car picking up speed so fast i reached for the gear shift to drop into a lower gear and looked up to see a police man waving at me that was how fast it happened he stepped out from behind tree he also had the Jeep this was my first ticket in 30 years. | |
