Just after Exit 6 northbound on Rte. 89, there is a bridge, a corner and a large rocky area. The State police sit on the small acess road just after this "cliff" area in the median. There is an incline leading to this area, and it is all too common to be speeding when you pass the access road. This is a tricky area both north and south bound, as there are commonly two troopers parked there, one facing each direction. I have seen many cars pulled over here, particularly on Fridays and sunny Saturdays.
Comment (3/2003): Under 80 mph and you're safe! VSP wont stop you unless you are flying.
Comment (7/2003): Thanks for the info...see you at 67 mph....VSP!! (LOL)
Comment (6/2004): They are also known for sitting just past the access road in the break down lane using their lazer.
