On eastbound I-90 between I-405 and Issaquah, the State Patrol routintely traps with motorcycle cops (and the occasional unmarked sedan) during the morning rush. They blend in with the trees and bushes on the side of the freeway and are very hard to see until it's too late. I have commuted in the morning between Seattle and Issaquah for 8 years and the enforcement suddenly started in 2002 and was ridiculous for a couple years but has lessened since then. But I still see a motorcycle cop a couple times a month and only on dry days. After you get past Eastgate, it seems like you're leaving the urban area and are tempted to drive 70 or more but don't do it! It's still a 60 zone and troopers on bikes are waiting for you.
