Comment (3/2006): On the way to Oregon, I have seen many white WSP cars sitting on overpasses, exits and freeway entrances.
Comment (2/2006): I have never seen a cop car along this stretch of road. I drive it once a week during my route.
Comment (3/2006): I disagree with the above comment. This is the only place on I-5 I have ever been pulled over (fortunately got off with a warning). I see them all the time when I drive this road mostly on weekends.
Comment (3/2006): It's a known fact for years that WSP patrol this area. I remember my dad getting pulled over one time in the early 80's for speeding outside of Longview on I-5.
Comment (3/2006): You had better watch out between Castle Rock exits and the Kelso exits. Also be very careful getting on the southernmost I-5 Castle Rock exit and entering Castle Rock. The Castle Rock police ticket many people along the Huntington Rd. entering Castle Rock as the speed limit suddenly drops from 40 to 25.
Comment (6/2006): Never see cops along this stretch? Right, I see them all the time, they hide all over...........
Comment (6/2006): I second the above comment. Castle Rock police are speed trap hounds. Watch out for them.
Comment (7/2006): WSP also stands next to their cars on the side of the freeway and aims radar at oncoming traffic between weigh station and and Pleasant Hill Rd. exit. Travel everyday from Castle Rock to Kelso both directions.
Comment (7/2006): I see cops sitting on the ostrander road exit every other day watch out they are desperate to meet there quota
