Cop sits on hill waiting for the traffic from 151 to cut through town, nabs you as the speed drops after corner..VERY hard to slow down, fine @ about $140 plus points, and this cop is a VERY determined individual who likes to question EVERYONE in the vehicle

Comment (8/2003): I posted the above..ticket thrown completely out after going to court..Cop NEVER showed, and judge agreed that it was a complete BS stop.

Comment (4/2004): I live right on this street and I know that he does sit at the bottome of the hill in town a lot, but there is only one cop on duty at a time and he is pretty incompetent, so don't worry too much. you can see him from the hill before he sees you, so be prepared to slow down if he is there.

Comment (7/2004): During the past three years our department has issued approximately 1 citation per week. The fines are usually given to those doing 15+mph over the posted limit. Please slow down and drive safely.

Comment (11/2003): Cops also sit at the bottom of the hill waiting for traffic to speed down the hills. Fortunately, USH 151 will soon bypass Belmont so you will not have to worry about this location.
