Village Limits extend (via a narrow strip of land) accross this four lane divided highway allowing Village of Blue Mounds Police to patrol and issue citations to passing motorists who have no intention of traveling through the Village, which is a substantial distance from the right of way.

Comment (7/2006): Officers will occasionally sit in the median just west of CTH F, at the county line. Two ridges on either side make it difficult for motorists to see upcoming officer stationed in the median.
