The cops sit in that parking lot of that little building right after the curve. YOu can hardley see them. Be careful!

Comment (10/2002): They also sit near Whals' appliances on 51, around 3:30-4:30.

Beloit Officers tend to sit near the Pleasant St. Angel Museum or possibly in the Beloit Inn lot. Speed limit is 25 on a 4-lane undivided road. Everyone averages around 35 here, but the cops can be pricks. Be careful!

On Interstate 39/90 Between Beloit, Wisconsin and Janesville, Wisconsin. The Wisconsin State Troopers will set up on Freeway overpasses and run radar. The Most common place to see this is on the overpass for "County S" (Shopiere Rd.) and closer to Janesville at the Highway 11 (Rock County Airport, University of Wisconsin/Blackhawk Tech) exit. The officer will sit either on the bridge, or on one of the entrance ramps to the freeway. If he is on the bridge, you can often see him, but if he is sitting on the entrance ramp, you're screwed since you will not see him because he is behind you. This is right at the Wisconsin/Illinois Border, so the police are taking advantage of the relatively leniant enforcement on the Illinois Tollway, and are nailing motorists as they cross into Wisconsin.
