There may be a Caledonia P.D. marked squad parked on one of the side streets crossing Charles Street just south of Four mile Road. Because of the road construction on Douglas Ave., much of the northbound traffic on Charles Street becomes backed up, so the speed trap becomes ineffective.
Comment (4/2003): Caldonia PD takes radar from the parking lot of the fire department.. after 9pm. However, most of there radar is innacurate because they take radar for both sides, one direction... if there is traffic... watch your speed, they may target you (Douglas Road)

Caledonia Officers, Racine County Deputies and even some State Troopers use the farm access points both east and west of this intersection to catch you from either direction. Most of the stops are made on cars going east after they clear a hill between CTH V and Sunflower Road. Most people they stop are the ones who forget the road is 55 mph and forget to slow down after exiting the Interstate.
