There are no speed limit signs posted on this highway except when entering a town and exiting a town.
Comment (11/2003): Wisconsin has the "Open Highway Speed Law," which means that the highway, unless otherwise posted, will be 55 MPH. Therefore, there are the signs, slowing traffic down when entering the towns or cities, and the single 55 MPH sign as you exit these towns or cities. All two-lane highways in Wisconsin are like this. I have never seen a two lane highway in Wisconsin posted higher than 55 MPH. That is why there are no speed limit signs posted all the way down the highway.

State Hwy 13 (Northern Adams County) is a bad area. The Town of Rome has a full time police force with nothing else to do except write tickets.
