Comment (5/2006): Some parts of the city are more strict than others. In some parts you can go faster than others
Comment (3/2006): I do not think this is a speed trap, the police allow 10 miles over. The speed limit is 55 and with the 10 miles over you can drive 65. The road has redlights and short exits, The hospital and school is also on the right side the east bound traffic, meaning all school buses and emergency crew has to cross this road.
Comment (6/2006): I have personally seen this speed trap. If you use a CB radio, sometimes you will hear about this trap.
Comment (6/2006): This is definatly a speed trap. They sit at the entrance to WVVA studios and radar you coming off the hill. It is mainly folks coming to work from Virginia that get stopped.
Comment (7/2006): I've been driving to St. Lukes for 3 years now and it you aren't doing 75 on that road you're sitting still. back in the spring BLFD was running is somewhat hard but not anymore.
Comment (7/2006): I just got a ticket on 460 the officer was sitting there at the WVVA entrace and said that I was doing 71 in a 55, I went to court and informed them that I had my cruise set on 61 and they still fined me for doing 61 in a 55.
Comment (11/2006): people have been killed and maimed for life because others were speeding. They never should have put the school and hospital off a bypass - but since they did, they need to ticket anyone speeding.
