Upshur County, near Buckhannon, WV. Speed trap on the only part of Brushy Fork Road (between Reger Chapel and Stony Run Road) that is straight enough to even remotely exceed the posted 45mph speed limit and the cops know it. They hide and wait. They will write you up for “anything” over 45. No slack. Excessive court fees imposed! All times of the day and night. Both Upshur County sheriff and WV State police. Easy money! Beware.

Comment (4/2006): Also, they park at the Triple S Stables on Stony Run Road. Brushy Fork and Stony Run roads are used by folks to avoid going through Buckhannon, therefore the cops heavily patrol these roads during the morning and evening rush hours.
