This road is on a very cruvey area heading to Kanawha State Forest and in one turn it goes into a sharp turn and it is down hill. If you are doing 31mph in the 30mph they will pull you over. They sit right beside a little house that looks like a Ginger Bread House...so beware

Comment (4/2006): I have lived in South Hills for 34 years and have never gotten a traffic ticket of any kind.Charleston Police are honest at least toward speed limits.A lot of young people drag race through these very dangerous roads. That is why you may occasionally see a policeman. I wish they would patrol the roads here a lot more.It is rare to even see them up here on the hill much less operate a speed trap. That does not happen here. If you recieve a speeding ticket here you will definitely deserve it.This statement is coming from someone who is very synical of cops too.

Comment (4/2006): The area referred to is on Connell Road, which goes right, off of Louden Heights Road, toward Kanawha State Forest. The place is locally called "The Dip". The police hide in a little off road and nab people who let their cars pick up speed going into "The Dip". Keep it to 30 mph on Connell Road.
