The speed limit on most of Route 60 coming from Charleston is 55 mph. Quite abruptly at Cedar Grove it changes to 40 mph. There is a little town through there, but it is not the only one like it along the road, and police cars are often waiting as soon as you cross into the new speed limit. The speed limit seems unecessarily slow and the reoccuring presence of enforcers right at the change heading eastbound on Rt. 60 raises an alert to me.
