Speed drops from 40 to 30 MPr within a few feet & the cop is usually sitting right there & the fine is no less than $99.00.

Comment (2/2003): This place is definitely a speed trap. I have been pulled over a couple of times there and followed by many cops. However, if you go at a certain time, usually at night, they will all be at Gino's eating pizza, so you should be pretty safe.

As you travel on Rt. 60, the speed limit goes from 55 to 40. A little further as you go down a hill, it goes from 40 to 30. The sign is pretty much hidden because of foilage.

Police sit hidden by trees at the Park entrance just over the crest of a hill along the east bound side. This is the begining of a passing zone one is tempted to use after cresting the hill. You will not see the car. Also two cars patrol at once and flashing headlights got me an equipment violation (not a warning)!
