DRIVE SLOW!!! Smokey Bear is out there and he don't give any breaks. Speed limit is 75 - no more.

Comment (3/2003): I drive thru many times going thru Casper. They will set in a turn off area about 20 miles north of Douglas using their rear gun. Also, as you enter into Douglas from the north there is a cross road from southbound to northbound lane that a trooper will sit on. He will gun you as you turn down the road toward Douglas. I have a upper end detector..And cruise I-25 frequently. I have only been instant-oned once. Was able to knock my speed down to 78. He pulled me over he didn't have my speed locked in and he let me go.

Comment (3/2003): Drive thru Douglas many times and the local trooper likes to stay beside the road and gun at a parking stop just north of Douglas. He will also park on a median crossing north and south of Douglas. I usually drive 85 going back and forth to Denver and don't usually have a problem if I keep my eyes open and drive cautiously. I know a couple troopers and they will always ticket someone with a radar detector, so if you're gonna run one get one that is "stealthy" and the officer won't know you have one.
