In Asheboro they are doing a Aggressive Speeding Program on Hwy. 220 if you are going 2-3 miles over the speeding limit they will be stopping you.

Comment (1/2005): Agree, there has been a lot of stops on 220 recently. New to me that they have a Program, but not surprised with all the recent stops.

Comment (11/2004): This is bogus. I have driven 220 for the past 2 years and do 7-8mph over the limit everyday. I've seen many cops and have never once been pulled over.

Comment (1/2006): I do an average of 5-10 mph over the speed limit and have never been pulled.

Traveling NB on I-73/74 from between the NC 42 X (left) to the Presnell St. exit there is a land median with decent shrub cover...but usually they are in full view (although limited sight distance) i usually do 5 over the limit (55) and am yet to get a ticket...but anything over that and youre pushing it.
