Comment (5/2002): If you really want a ticket for doing nothing, drive though Adamsville with an out-of-state tag. They will pull you over (3 of them) search your vehicle for absolutely no reason. I will never visit this town again!
Comment (5/2002): If you want your life ruined or want to end up in jail for months, for no reason at all, drive through Adamsville,Al. Their judge is the most crooked cop in the state. If they want to give you a breath test, they will try, or, if they think you may pass it, you won't get to take one. I've seen it. It's worth your time to find a route around Adamsville even if you have to drive 50 miles out of the way. Getting stopped in Adamsville, Al is like getting nabbed in Mexico. You have "NO" rights, period.
Comment (6/2002): Well we know your comment if not factual because a Judge can not serve as a police officer. Tell it to someone else
Comment (7/2002): OK, I will concede to the fact that a judge is not considered to be a police officer. But, police officers, and judges are sworn to uphold the law, not abuse it for profit for the city. I will rephrase my sentence. The judge is not the most crooked "cop" in the state, he is one of the most crooked "judges" in the state. Does that satisfy you??? Just look at other's comments. You are in the minority. Obviously, something "fishy" is happening in the Adamsville, Al speedtrap/con racket.
Comment (10/2009): Officers pulled my car over in the summer of 2009. My son and son-in-law had used my car to go to work. When on their way home they were pulled over and the Officer claimed the tag light was out, it was not. They put them each in the back of the cop car while they searched my car from stem to stern looking for a reason to lock them away. They searched my glove compartment, trunk, and console. There was a small amount of mysterous liquid in an empty advil bottle along with my full bottle of advil. The officers questioned my son extensively about what was in the bottle. They tested it and it turned out to be H2O. Those wicked boys were detained for an hour so the Officers could do their job. They were pulled over by a Jefferson County Officer but it still happened in Adamsville.
Comment (03/2010): I am very lucky that I dont have to go thru Adamsucksville Adamsevilville is run by crooked cops and a little miss mayor that will get caught pocketing the city\'s money for her own personal gains.Adamsville has done everything in their questionable power to take over adjoining towns with their barney fife approach speed traps.Jefferson county officers are forced by Adamsville\'s mayor to stay out of Adamsville cops present authority with verbal threats.Adamsville town is now forcing their cop authority over several adjoining towns. Its a game the miss mayor is doing to see how much revenue adamsville can steal from other towns

If you really want a ticket go above the speed limit in Adamsville. You have a chief that will give tickets left and right. These guys will hide in the woods and places you would never think a cop car could go. I promise all the cars have a radar and they don't have lasers so fork out the money and buy you a detector from wal-mart.
