Anywhere on us 280 between Dadeville (also listed) and Waverly. Camphill has always been tough to speed through, but lately it's gotten worse, because they are really cracking down everywhere, not just speeding. If you get stopped, better hope the cop can't smell anything even remotly suspicious, cause you will get searched!

Comment (6/2006): Man....they be tough on US 280.

Comment (09/2009): We were on Hwy 280 coming home from an Auburn game when we were stopped and given a ticket for speeding. We were going 65 in a 65 mph speed zone, and no one in the car had been drinking or doing anything wrong. The officer told us he clocked us at 78. This was not possible for 3 reasons: Our speedometer read 65, our GPS (which we use to keep us informed of what the speed limit is and how fast we\'re going) read 65, and we had set our cruise control on 65. My husband and I both knew this was correct and we were stunned that we had even been stopped. We had all of our papers, and had done nothing wrong. We didn\'t make a scene for fear of him making up something else, but now we have to drive back down to go to court to contest this false allegation. I just wanted to warn others of this corruption. An investigation needs to be done on this....
